■ Regarding Playback Speed
●Generally, cassette playback devices (decks, players, etc.) have individual differences in playback speed, and strictly speaking, all speeds vary (incidentally, even during the cassette boom of the 90s, the permissible tolerance for new products on the market was said to be 0.5% to 2%). While we adjust the playback speed at the factory before shipment, individual differences may arise during initial operation and depending on usage frequency.
●This product has a function that allows for fine adjustment of the motor rotation speed. There is a small hole in the lower right part of the back panel of the main unit. By inserting a small flathead screwdriver into this hole and turning it left or right, you can finely adjust the tape speed.
●When a cassette player is used near objects that emit electromagnetic waves, such as electrical appliances, electrical "noise" may occur. Also, "noise" may occur due to tape vibration. High-spec, high-end models manufactured by major Japanese manufacturers in the 80s, the heyday of cassettes, reduced vibration and enabled stable sound quality playback with less "noise" through special stabilizer functions that fixed the cassette unit in an optimal state. However, this product is a gadget-like item and does not possess high-precision functions. Please be aware of this in advance.
